The Notebook - Romance Killers and Being Grateful for True Love

I don't have a specific quote but LOVED this movie. When it came out, my husband and I were not in the best place. I found myself longing for the excitement of new love like the characters in the movie had. So envious of two young lovers without any baggage, regrets, or resentment holding them back. The end of the movie highlights the value of enduring the hard years...stress from work, kids, money issues....things that tend to drag us all down. Romance killers! This movie gave me a lasting reminder that even though you may not always be in that exciting first love stage, true love endures the trials of life and comes out the other side even stronger. I watch this movie now, with an entirely new perspective and a grateful heart for the true love of my husband that still endures and gets better everyday! - Shelly
