This may be a bit to travel for some people reading this site - but one of my favourite romantic destinations is on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland.
If you saw "Ryans Daughter" or "Far and Away" - the movies, you will recognise many of the scenes.
Everything from beautiful beaches to wild mountain scenery right through to pretty B and Bs and sumptuous hotels. The landscape has ancient monuments scattered through it.
Last June we were sitting outside a small pub on the west side watching the sun go down over the sea inbetween the mountains.
Or how about taking a boat trip that is typically accompanied by Fungi, the resident harbour dolphin.
I guess I am spoiled as this most beautiful spot is only 100 miles down the road from our house - but I've noticed so many vacationing couples coming from ALL over the world just to share the magic of this wonderful romantic spot.
