It was an extremely simple proposal plan. Here is the ring....Will you marry me. But...my fiancée was a very busy person. It took over a month to coordinate our first date. Me...I am the nervous type, and did not want to propose in public. What if she said no? and I did not want a yes out of public pressure.
So on a quiet holiday night while she was baking cookies, I took out the ring and asked....did I mention that she sometimes does not wear her hearing aids.
She Laughed. I did not get the joke. Turns out she thought I was just kidding. (I do kid a lot). I asked again...She says "Are you serious" "Yes"
Finally, a beautiful smile on her face and a yes. and we are still living happily ever after.
